Upcoming Events

Please download this flyer for more information about the garlic mustard pulls.

Saturday, April 18, 1-3 pm - Garlic mustard pull. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with nature and do something that is good for the environment and a good family activity. Dress appropriately for the weather. You are advised to wear long sleeves and long pants. Bring water. You will also need gloves and a small digging tool. Friends of the Great Meadow will supply garbage bags. The section of the park on which we will be focusing is the Great Meadow. The Great Meadow straddles the boundaries of East Cleveland and Cleveland Heights. It is one of the park’s most cherished places. Volunteers will meet in the Cleveland Heights parking lot off Lee Road opposite Forest Hill Church (the Forest Hill Blvd. parking lot is still functioning as a composting site and the East Cleveland parking lot off Lee at the northern edge of the park is too far away from the Great Meadow, where we will be working).
